Will you ever meet God or Jesus?

i know this is bound to open up a lot of topics here, especially those who want to make clear their opinion that god does not exist.. that being said, this is for those who do believe in god.. .

do you believe in a heaven, and if so, when you get there, in your opinion, will you ever personally walk up to god or jesus and talk to them face to face?.

as i left the witnesses, i have gotten a better understanding of the bible, and my personal belief is that we do have a heavenly hope.

Free, I hafta tell ya.....I rode my bicycle to my appointments with him and talked to him....but I didn't know it was him till later.....anyone that really wants to can talk to him.....problem is, they won't know it's him....so they'll just be themselves, good or bad.....he's a really warm, fuzzy guy....very nice...down-to-earth....very caring and empathetic.....but, know this.....he knows *everything* about ya, but you won't realize it's Him till after the fact......funny thing is, I always joked about "if God should ever ride up on a bicycle and ask me...".....but it was the other way around.....btw...he's a great teaser, too.....good sense of humor....

i'm leaving this up for interpretation.. this verse is speaking of the coming anti-christ and it gives a bit of some detail about his background....note it states that he will have no desire for women.. so what does that make the anti-christ be???.

Yizuman, I covered the topic of the anti-christ in one of my letters that I sent to some of the worldwide branch offices after my DF'ing, exposing some of the inaccuracies in their "Gnu-Whirled" Translation......Daniel 11:37 (to moi) refers to the WT-BATS, cher.....It's a male-oriented organization, subordinating women, and remember where it says in the Greek scriptures that the anti-christ would be saying that Christ had "not come in the flesh"? Well, they mistranslated that scripture.....the Greek words used therein translate more correctly to show that the Anti-Christ would be declaring that Christ was not "coming in the flesh"...(implies second coming).....and we all know that the WT-BATS supports the doctrine that Jesus, when he returns, will not be in the flesh......ergo, they are the Anti-Christ....JMHO

former jws fall into two categories:.

1) those who consciously chose out, perhaps as an intellectual position, perhaps as an emotional reaction to some event, maybe while in the throes of some existential crisis.. 2) those who blew it, and got busted for (cue music) breakin the law, breakin' the law, breakin' the law.

Gawrsh.....I was force-fed so much of the "Gnu-Whirled" Translation that I developed a Jesus complex/identity crisis......so I wrote the Gov. Potty and told 'em what white-washed graves they are (among other less agreeable terms) and waited for 'em to "crucify" me.....It took 'em just 6 weeks to "kill" me by DF'ing.....

what is the # 1 reason people join the JW's ??? what attracts people ???

being brought up in the borg, i always envied my friends that did not have to go in service, go to meetings, and waste their weekends away, i have never really been able to understand why someone would join the jw's unless they were born (forced) into it.

aside from maybe coming from an abusive lifestyle or relationship, or had serious drug/alcohol problems, this i could understand how the religion helped them get back on track.

so why do people join ???

The only people they appeal to (IMHO) are vulnerable emotionally and spiritually...and they simply LUVVVVVVVVVVVV 'em in the front door, not lettin' on that they're gonna slap 'em out the back door if they dare to have an opinion or thought of their own or if they actually act like a human....

could it be argued reasonably the wtbs was merely being a spy at the un to justify andy invovlement with so obviously and historically a blasphemous organisation?

afterall, did not jehovah authorize sending spies into the promised land post exodus?

new light on churches??

my very jw mother went to my daughter's wedding in a mainstream church this summer.

this is the first time i ever remember her going into a church.

she refused to attend my wedding in a methodist church and also my brother's in a mainstream church.

How Close Do YOU Live To BETHEL?

ya know, i've had to wonder, since the comment had been posed to me some time ago about various parts of the world, and how close they live to their respective bethels.

so how close do you live to bethel (of your country)?.

the reason i ask is, at least around here, the closer you live to bethel, it seems the more spiritual (jw sense of the word) some of our posters are.

To tell ya the truth, about 1500 miles....not close enuff to tell 'em "up close and personal" just what I think about their dastardly ways and meanies.....but thas okay....when I sent 'em the letter that forced 'em to disf me, they spread my name as "mud" over half the United States, from the West Coast all the way into Louisiana.......(wicked cackle)
